General Contracting
With our select team of subcontractors, we will make you feel at ease throughout your project as we work together to build your custom home. Providing complete building services from layout and design through custom cabinets and landscaping; we perform and oversee every detail that makes your project become your home.
Commercial Construction
We also provide commercial construction services including wood framing, steel stud framing, commercial roofing, ICF construction, and project management.
Site Development
We can provide an array of excavation services including: new construction excavation, demolition, retaining walls, perc testing, septic system installation, and drainage systems.
Project Design
Our design services will take your ideas and sketches and transform them into a complete set of blueprints for planning and construction.

Custom Design Builders was established in 1986 by Bill Lemon Jr. Initially specializing in framing, the company has continued to evolve and now provides services for general contracting, land development, and commercial construction.

Bill Lemon Jr. – Owner/Operator
A second generation builder, Bill grew up working with his father and always had a passion for woodworking and operating. He branched out on his own when he was 24, literally building out of the back of the family car, and has since developed Custom Design Builders into one of the premier residential building companies in the area. Bill’s ability to visualize, develop, plan, and construct projects are instrumental in the building process. His work ethic and dedication to his craft and customers is unmatched, leading to the reputation that he has achieved.
Bill Lemon III – Operations Manager
A third generation builder, Bill III grew up playing on job sites and working small jobs for his father. As he grew older, he began working on school vacations and joined the team full time in 2002. Since then, responsibilities have included overseeing job operations, project development, marketing, and financial management.
